Illinois' Farmland Bucks       

     Our Illinois operation is located in Pike County. Pike continues to rank as the #1 county in the nation for Pope & Young bucks. Our clients are seeing and harvesting more and bigger bucks than anytime during the past 15 years hunting this area. Our harvest records over recent years prove this. I believe this is a direct result of the minimum size restrictions imposed throughout much of the county, and the fact that our farms are only hunted 3 weeks out of the entire season.  When bucks are allowed to grow to maturity and receive limited hunting pressure our bowhunters reap the rewards. 

     Our November rut hunts take place in the vast croplands of West Central Illinois, where monster whitetails are always a reality. Throughout these huge corn and soybean fields there is adequate cover in the form of small woodlots, brushy fencerows and CRP fields. These conditions provide excellent travel routes in the form of funnels and bottlenecks which is custom-made for serious bowhunting. This combination of unlimited nutrition, good cover and outstanding genetics provide everything these bucks need to reach world-class proportions.   

      In order for us to continue to produce top-end bucks for our clients, all bucks harvested must meet our minimum standard of

125" P.&Y.(gross score).    Our areas are selected for their reputation for producing outstanding  whitetails; if you don't have the patience and self-control to wait on a trophy, this hunt is not for you.
