Kansas Hunts

Our Kansas operation is located in Morris County, in the heart of the Flint Hills of Kansas, this 10,000 acre ranch is custom-made for the hard-core bowhunter. The terrain consist of wooded creek and river bottoms, rolling hills and croplands of milo, wheat. corn and soybeans.

This ranch produced the new # 3 non-typical in the state of Kansas in 2006. This buck ranks as the #23 largest non-typical in the world. With these genetics we expect this area to continue to produce some of the highest scoring whitetails found anywhere in North America. ( Picture with rack only is above mentioned MONSTER!)

Our 2008 season proved to a great one, Kansas was no exception. We ended up with 50% success rate on trophy bucks with our best two scoring in the upper 150's and lower 160's. What is really exciting is the number of exceptional bucks seen, but not harvested. One bowhunter from Cordelle, Ga., passed on a nice 140 class buck early in his hunt, only to be rewarded with a huge 160 class 10 point on day three of his hunt. Another bowhunter from Arkansas passed on a mid to upper 130 class buck and never had a better buck offer him a shot. This is the real world of trophy bowhunting and what makes it such a challenge. If you always swing for the fence, sometimes you're going to strikeout!

We will only be hunting 12 bowhunters on our ranch in 2009, and half of these are already booked by hunters who re-booked in 2008. If you want to book one of the few remaining spots during the Kansas rut or have questions about the hunt let us hear from you.
