     I am very proud of the fact that in the last 15 seasons our clients have harvested 93 bucks which exceed Pope & Young minimums. Our 2008 season proved to be one of our very best, with 55% of our bowhunters taking a trophy whitetail. Our success rate in Illinois was up from 35% in 2007 to 40% in 2008.  Texas was up from 50% in 2007 to 75%, and we were fortunate enough to have a 50% success on our new ranch in Kansas. 

     Our best bucks in Illinois and Kansas scored in the low 160's , with both states producing several 150 class bucks. Although we didn’t harvest any B&C bucks in 2008 , several were seen but no one was able to close the deal on a giant. As luck would have it both Greg Hall who hunted Kansas, and Eric Burt who hunted Texas had monster bucks under their stands, but only after they had filled their buck tags and were trying to harvest a doe.  

     We honestly try to give each of our clients the best bowhunt we know how, and as a result our success on big trophy whitetails continues to increase each year. We know that it is our bowhunters that make our bowhunt.. We tell our clients what to expect during the hunt, we tell them how to be prepared, and they come into camp ready to to hunt hard. That is all we can ask.
